Excuses

Hallo allemaal,

ik hoop dat er nog bezoekers zijn. Ik wil graag mijn excuses aanbieden.
Wegens drukte (prive en op het werk) heb ik de afgelopen paar maanden weinig tijd gestoken in deze site. Ik hoop dat vanaf komend jaar beter te kunnen plannen.
Nogmaals mijn excuses, en welkom op het forum, waar we jullie met alle plezier willen helpen.

New Pivot webring

It appears that this webring is also not among the living anymore. (perhaps Scriptor could look into this?)
So for now we don't have a webring anymore. What you could do, is add yourself to the large list of Pivot users on www.pivotlog.net

As you may have noticed, the Pivot webring has stopped some time ago.

MyPivot visitor Scriptor is in the proces of creating a number of webrings for (mainly Dutch) bloggers, being inspired by exactly that Pivot webring.
Hence one of the first webrings is one for users of the Pivot weblog software.
At this moment, the only criterion to join is the fact that you use a Pivot hosted weblog.
Just like the former Pivot webring.
As Scriptor runs a slightly better configuration than the original Pivot Ring, expectation is that the site will be on air quite some time.
You are quite welcome to join the Ring !!

Template contest

Hey all you Pivoteers, wonderful Pivoteers

There is a new template contest for Pivot right here at MyPivot.net!

Not just any template, this contest has a theme which is to create a template for art sites mainly, but you could use it for all your pivot sites of course.

So what do we mean by artsites?
Well there are lots of loggers that like to display their photo's, photoshop work etc.. So in general we are looking for templates that have a nifty and nice way to show images.

You can make use of subweblogs, snippets etc., even external image galleries could be used, as long as it all fits the template and could hold comments. Latest images on the frontpage everything you need for your artlog, photolog etc. As long as you supply a readme with guidelines on how to get it to work.

There is an award also for the first place, we reserved 60 euro.

We aren't looking for copies of those sites but they give you an idea on what we are looking for.
Submissions are also donated to PivotStyles so be sure to stick to their guidelines as well.

The contest ends on May 31st, and the winner will be anounced later in June.

We are back!

MyPivot.net celebrated its first-year anniversary not too long ago. As a belated celebration, here is the new version of MP.

The new design came about partly as a design to brighten the site up and increase its readability. The old one, with its dark blues and confined margins, became rather depressing to view after a while. With this design, I have instead opted for a predominantly white colour scheme with splashes of green and orange, and have utilized a more "open" design.

If you catch any bugs along the way, let me know.
