Calendar path issues?

Posted on the 16 May, 2005. Vote: + 6 - 6

Some people have issues with the paths in their calendar

This problem can be solved quite easily, at least if you don't shy away from some editing ;)
Well for people who are using 1.24.1, I have already altered the pv_core.php to suit your needs...

What you need to do is this:
1) make a backup of your current pv_core.php
2) download this file
3) rename it, so that it is called "pv_core.php" (preferably all in lower-case)
4) then upload it to your pivot/ folder, and overwrite the one that is there.
5) rebuild all pages, and check if the calendar uses the correct folder now.

*edited to have it use a better code, thanks to HansFN* :)

Wouldn’t it have been better to use the real fix for the Setpaths function (posted in the Pivot forums and part of Pivot 1.30 alpha) insted of using a hardcoded fix that only works for people with Pivot in /pivot/? Then you can remove your point 5a above… Anyway, this is a good effort so don’t take my wrong.

If you are talking about the code that hansfn came up with, I talked to madjo and he changed the file to one I made using that code. The original fix madjo posted made Blacklist stop working, so I tried hansfn’s code and it worked like a charm. You can also find the file made using his code hosted here http://home.comcast.net/~barrett53/pv_co..

The thread about it is here http://forum.pivotlog.net/viewtopic.php?..

I didn’t have time yet, to indeed update this post with the code from HansFN (sorry buddy, you are right that yours is better) :)
I will update this today :) I promise.
